Esquimalt’s history is very much alive – and right around every corner. Heritage architecture by Rattenbury, Maclure, James and Hooper; the Naval and Military Museum, the lovingly restored Lampson St. School, memorials and monuments. Heritagechurches recall congregations founded 150 years ago while more recent places of worship serve Orthodox, Roman Catholic, Muslim, and Buddhist faiths. Discover the many fascinating stories of how we came to be.
